The Blue Ox will play at Mariucci Arena, considered by management to be the finest facility in which to present hockey in North America.

Regular season play begins June 4th and ends August 21st with an NCAA style playoff to be held this year at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The Minnesota Blue Ox is in the Eastern Division with St. Louis (@ the Kiel Center), Chicago (@ the Fox Valley Ice Center) and Buffalo (@ the Buffalo State Arena). The Ox will play each of these teams six times - three at home, and three on the road.

The Western Division teams are Anaheim (@ the Pond), San Jose (@ the San Jose Arena), Las Vegas (@ the Santa Fe Casino), and Dallas (@ Reunion Arena). The Ox will play each of these teams once at home and once on the road.

The Minnesota Blue Ox will be coached by former St. Cloud State hockey player Steve Martinson and will rage with Minnesota home grown talent.

Management will not lose sight of the fact that the idea is to provide exciting and affordable entertainment. Since a game only lasts 2 hours and five minutes, (unless there is a Sudden Death shoot-out), it will be jam packed with good clean fun and end-to-end hockey in a wonderful setting accessible to all in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area (and very familiar to all true hockey fans).
